Need more smoke with my electric smoker.

I have an electric smoker that works great but I have trouble getting enough smoke. The unit is well insulated and the burner is not on often enough to produce constant smoke. I am wondering if I could get a PRO Q Cold smoker and place it in the bottom of unit and cook as I normally do at temps between 225 F and 275 F? Thanks for any help

The Cold smoke generator is designed for cold smoking and produces a light smoke. I don't see any reason why it couldn't be used in the way you suggest.
